RYA Powerboat - Level 1
Duration: One day
Cost: £150 (minimum of 2 students), £265 (one to one tuition)
Prerequisites: At least 8 years of age. No experience required.
The RYA Powerboat Level 1 course On the course you will cover:
► Launching & recovery (practical, not just theory)
► Boat handling at slow speed ► Securing to a buoy ► Leaving and coming alongside ► Safety checks & personal buoyancy | |
On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the RYA Level 1 Powerboat Certificate. Candidates under 16 will have their certificates endorsed "powerboats to be used under adult supervision".
Own Boat Tuition (£ per person per day, minimum £)
You must be insured for tuition and you retain responsibility for your vessel and all fuel costs. Safety equipment, if required, may be hired for the duration of tuition.
