Jon Carter Principal
Jon is a qualified teacher and school inspector whose boating experience started in Sea Scouts. He holds qualifications as an RYA Powerboat Advanced Instructor, SRC Assessor and First Aid Instructor. He also instructs shorebased navigation courses up to Day Skipper level and is a helmsman on the RNLI Whitstable Lifeboat.
Martin Easton Chief Instructor
Martin works professionally in the maritime environment both in the UK and abroad and has strong connections with the local sea scout group. He holds the RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification for power driven vessels and he is an RYA Powerboat Instructor and PWC Instructor. He is also a prospective helmsman on the RNLI Whitstable Lifeboat.
Paul Kemp Instructor
Paul is a professional marine engineer with experience in superintendancy positions both in the UK and abroad. He holds qualifications as an RYA Powerboat Instructor and Diesel Engine Instructor. He was, until recently, a helmsman of long standing on the RNLI Whitstable Lifeboat.
Andy Lock Instructor
Andy is an RYA Powerboat Instructor with wide experience of boating through his connections with the local sea cadets and sea scouts. He has been a crewman on the RNLI Whitstable Lifeboat.
Ross Boushear Instructor
Ross is a professional first aid and lifeguard trainer and brings a wealth of experience to his role as an RYA First Aid Instructor. He is also a crewman on the RNLI Gravesend Lifeboat.
Graham Ringshall Instructor
Graham is an RYA Shorebased Instructor who holds the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification for sail driven vessels, and is able to instruct all the navigation theory courses up to Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Offshore level as well as the RYA First Aid course.
Adam Pretty Instructor
Adam is an RYA Powerboat Advanced Instructor who also holds RYA Coach qualifications for sailing. He is able to instruct navigation theory courses up to Day Skipper level.
